How to create a product pack
⚠️ Before creating a pack, you must first create the products or options you want to include in it.
To create a product pack:
Go to Catalog > Packs
Click + Pack on the right-hand side of the screen
Then complete the following sections:
1. General tab
Pack name: choose the name that will appear in your catalog.
Security deposit: enter the security deposit amount for the entire pack.
VAT rate: enter the VAT rate that applies to the pack.
2. Documents tab
You can add documents such as user guides, instructions, or safety guidelines.
These documents can be viewed on the product pages of your online store and will also be attached to booking summary emails sent to customers.
3. Questionnaire tab
Choose a questionnaire from the drop-down menu.
The questionnaire must have been created beforehand in ⚙️ Settings > Internal Management > Participant Questionnaire.
4. Pack contents
In this tab, you can add the products and options you want to include in your pack.
Work through the pack one item at a time, starting with Product 1:
Enter the name of the first product.
Then select the products from your catalog that customers will be able to choose from as Product 1.
Example: if Product 1 in my pack is an adult bike, I select the different adult bikes available in my catalog. The customer will then need to choose which bike they want to add to their pack.
Once Product 1 is complete, scroll to the bottom of the page and click + Product to add Product 2.
Repeat the same process for each product you want to include in the pack.
From the customer side, whether they are booking through your Online Store or lokki.rent, when a pack is added to the cart, the customer must choose each product included in the pack.
Here is an example of a pack containing 3 products with different options:
5. Pricing
Choose the product category you want to link the pack to, then enter the prices based on the different rental ranges.
6. Online Store
Choose the pack availability:
Available: the pack will be displayed normally in the online store.
Unavailable: the pack will not appear in the online store but will remain available for internal bookings.
You can also:
Enter a different name for the online store. If you leave this field blank, the name displayed online will be the same as the one used in the catalog.
Add up to 5 photos of the pack, either catalog photos of the products or photos showing the products in use.
Add a detailed description of the pack.
Add a YouTube video, for example a presentation video or tutorial.
7. Complementary Products
Complementary products can help increase the average order value by suggesting additional products related to the pack.
When the pack is added to the cart, complementary products are suggested to the customer in a pop-up on your website.
Select the relevant product checkboxes to offer them as additional products.
⚠️ Please note: if you see an error message, it probably means that the Product name fields in the Pack contents section are not unique. Make sure each product slot in the pack has a different name.
